    Backgrounds

    Although flavones from Radix Scutellariae (RS) were reported to have CNS activities with baicalein (B), wogonin (W) and baicalin (BG) identified to be positive modulators of the benzodiazepine binding site of GABAA receptors and oroxylin A (OA) to be a GABAA antagonist, their brain uptake has never been fully investigated.
