History of the MEPS Board

Thanks to the outstanding files of General Pharmacist Dr Hans Joachim Krauss, Germany and valuable information by Ragnar Rydberg and Peter Rollason, we can give you the Section History until 1994.  Invaluable record keeping by Secretaries Bob van Damme, Ivan van Poucke and Jane Dawson have enabled the sharing of information from 1995 to current.

 

1951 – Rome-IT - 24 September

After the Rome Congress, military pharmacists from France, UK, Italy, Yugoslavia, The Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland; Spain and the USA gathered under the initiative of FIP President Dr Horst Madsen and Colonel Reusse (FR). in order to create a military section.  In the same time there was held a series of Presentations.
