FIP interventions at the 2013 World Health Assembly in Geneva

FIP made several interventions during the 2013 World Health Assembly.

The one on Mental Health stressed that given the shift into a more community-based approach, pharmacists are more than ever to be considered as a key asset to make any mental health policy effective.

The FIP intervention on Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) stressed that as the voluntary global targets are both on the availability (access) and councelling to drug therapy, pharmacists have an important role to play to facilitate the achievements of these goals.
