New award to recognise interprofessional collaboration
A new award for interprofessional collaborative practice has been launched by the World Health Professions Alliance. The alliance, a partnership of five international organisations representing pharmacists, medical doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and dentists, is now calling for nominations.
The purpose of the award is to promote and strengthen interprofessional collaborative practice and to recognise an "outstanding" interprofessional team, which should include at least three different health professions. Nominations can be made through national pharmacy organisations. Further details.
The deadline for nominations is 1 March 2015.
