A Holiday Greeting from Our President
As this festive season descends upon us all, I look back on another year of success and progress for FIP and wish to offer sincere appreciation for your continued efforts and involvement in the work of our Federation.
The past year has once again been marked by significant achievement for FIP in furthering the role and impact of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists in the global betterment of health. These accomplishments could not have been possible without the hard work and dedication by all of you, our Member Organisations, our partners in healthcare and those individuals who serve our Federation. It is evident that FIP's 2020 Vision is being embraced wholeheartedly by our Members throughout the world and I excitedly look forward to how this will unfold in the positive changes in the future.
The highlight of the year was once again the FIP Congress, in Istanbul, Turkey. We are most pleased to see our Congresses grow and expand in both participation and scope. We embrace the opportunity to connect with a growing number on this international platform for education, interaction and development. We hope to welcome even more pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists to both the FIP Congress 2010 in Lisbon, Portugal and to the Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress in New Orleans, USA.
As we welcome 2010, I look forward to the many ways that FIP will continue to represent, collaborate, and advocate for our professionals in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences worldwide. FIP accomplishments are only possible because of you , your involvement and generosity. I recognize and value our shared commitments, efforts and achievements on behalf of people and good health everywhere.
With Seasons Greetings and Best Wishes for 2010, I am
Dr Kamal K. Midha
