Backgrounds
Polyphenols are well-known antioxidants and their application to the skin offers several advantages, such as protection against photoaging and photocarcinogenesis; however, their poor solubility in solvents and low skin permeability need to be overcome. We previously reported the usefulness of the microemulsion (ME) using sucrose.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
