Backgrounds
The rhizome of Curcuma comosa Roxb. (CC) is widely used for health promotion in postmenopausal women in Thailand. The estrogenic-like activities of CC extract are related to its major constituents, diarylheptanoids, of which the (4E, 6E)-1, 7-diphenylhepta-4, 6-dien-3-ol (DA1) and (6E)-1, 7-diphenylhept-6-en-3-ol (DA2) were identified.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
