  India has about one million registered pharmacists and over 1800 pharmacy colleges producing annually over 100,000 graduates in different pharmacy programs. However, this workforce is not mentioned in national health and pharmaceutical policies although pharmacies can play an important role in the healthcare system in India since the public health ..
