  • Abstract:

    The plants of genus Desmos (Annonaceae) have been widely used in Chinese folk medicine as antimalarial, insecticidal, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, and analgesic agents. Ten compounds isolated from this genus were screened as potential antitumor promoters by examining their ability to inhibit Epstein-Barr virus early antigen (EBV-EA) activation..
