    Oxidative stress caused the generation of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) plays an important role in human carcinogenesis. Manganese Superoxyde dismutase (MnSOD) is a major enzyme that is responsible for the detoxification of reactive oxygen species in the mitochondria.
