    Cancer cells need excess cholesterol to maintain a high level of proliferation is well accepted, however whether intracellular cholesterol level associates with epidermal growth factor receptor-tyrosine kinase inhibitors resistance in non-small cell lung cancer harboring EGFR mutations has not been elucidated.
