  • Abstract:

Hydrogen bonded interpolymeric complexes (IPCs) found many applications in the pharmaceutical industry for controlled, sustained, and retarded drug delivery. The IPCs based on natural polymers (e.g. polysaccharides) are of particular interest because of their high biocompatibility and biodegradability, induced by the natural compound.
