Projects

One of the main objectives of the FFA is to promote and support dialogue and cooperation for the development of pharmacy in the Americas by promoting the execution of projects related to professional practice and pharmaceutical education. At each ordinary general assembly, support of the financing of two projects, to be executed within a period of one year and related to the development objectives of FIP, is approved by the forum. Self-care project

A project, based in Uruguay, explores professional services in community pharmacy to promote communication and self-care practices. This will assist in reformulating and enhancing the role of community pharmacy as a health service that promotes self-care practices, prevention and health education. More details here (in Spanish).

Educational project

This project proposes the basis for the implementation of interprofessional education programmes in pharmacy courses in the Americas, with the contribution of academic resources aimed at teachers involved in academic-administrative management as well as at students.
