Backgrounds
Preliminary studies on xanthine oxidase inhibitor activity of ethanol extract and fraction of roselle calyx (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) have been coducted in vitro. Compound identification of active fraction was performed on the most active ethyl acetate fraction that showed higest inhibition capacity.
