Background
Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), a M3 subtype of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), has changed from a highly fatal subtype to a curable subtype of leukemia. The widely accepted treatment of APL in China is the combination of retinoic acid (ATRA), small dose of chemotherapy, and arsenic preparations. There are two types of arsenic..
