Purpose: In April 2011 US-FDA has approved Duexis which is a formulation of Ibuprofen, combined with Famotidine, in a single pill. The developed pill was unable to meet the chronotherapeutic goals, which have recently been highlighted in connection with chronic diseases with typical night or early morning recurrence of symptoms.
